ABOUT
Joshua Jeremiah, also known as “Hitsound” is a Nigerian music executive, producer, entrepreneur, and business strategist whose work is centered on building the infrastructure that powers the modern music industry. Joshua is a dedicated advocate for musical excellence and a committed music tutor and artist development expert. His efforts in shaping the music landscape in Africa include privately funding the establishment of numerous indie artist music apps, recording studios, and music educational workshops across the continent and Nigeria. Beginning his career as a music producer, Joshua quickly recognized that many talented artists struggled not because of creativity, but because of weak business structures, poor rights management, and limited access to professional industry systems. Today, Joshua works across record label development, music publishing, business affairs, artist strategy, and startup advisory - helping music companies establish the operational foundations needed for long-term growth.

EARLY LIFE
Born on November 9, 1998, and raised in Nigeria, Joshua developed a deep fascination with music and creativity from an early age. What began as an appreciation for sound gradually evolved into a curiosity about the business behind the artists, records, and companies shaping culture around the world. While many aspiring musicians focused solely on performance, Joshua became equally interested in understanding how successful careers were built, how intellectual property created long-term value, and why some artists achieved lasting success while others struggled despite their talent. This curiosity led him into music production, where he spent years developing both his technical skills and creative instincts. Working closely with artists gave him a firsthand view of the opportunities and challenges within the industry. It also exposed a recurring problem: many talented creatives lacked the business structures, strategic planning, and operational systems needed to build sustainable careers. Recognizing that gap became a defining moment in his professional journey. Rather than limiting himself to the creative side of music, Joshua began studying the broader ecosystem of the industry—record labels, publishing, copyright, distribution, business affairs, artist development, and the economics that drive successful entertainment companies.
